The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Electronics Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team.

In this role, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of our high-complexity Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), directly impacting the reliability and capability of our autonomous mobile robots (ANYmal). You will bridge the gap between advanced concept designs and ruggedized, industrial-grade production, helping us scale our electronics architecture for harsh and hazardous environments.

By developing highly sophisticated, reliable, and optimized electronics, you enable our robots to operate autonomously where humans cannot. Your Impact Take full technical ownership and product care of 1-2 key high-complexity PCBAs (e.g., our complex communication switches or Battery Management Systems) Drive the PCBA development process from initial architecture and schematics through layout, prototyping, debugging, and production handover Strategically review and simplify our current PCBA portfolio across ANYmal product lines to optimize system architecture Establish rigorous test specifications and verification protocols to ensure flawless execution during productization Collaborate closely with systems engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate electronics seamlessly into the robot Champion high-quality engineering standards within the EE team, bringing strong industrial experience to the table Your Profile Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field with at least 7 years of hands-on experience developing electronics boards for industrial, aerospace, or military applications Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard ECAD software (e.g., KiCad, Altium) and simulation tools like SPICE Proven track record of layouting your own complex designs with strict creepage, clearance, an
